Gasoline dips below $4 in California

Will this drop stop the drive to drill for more domestic supplies? Will cheaper gas make the SUV popular again? Will “alternative” energy investment fall off?

And no.

The days of the petroleum fueled engine are numbered except where they cannot yet be replaced (jet aircraft).

To the historian: I've thought a lot about the jet engine and our economy. I can only guess that, in X number of years, flying as we know it will become almost exclusively corporate.
Just for the record, the regular gas in my hometown (of Wallingford, PA) was about $3.39 yesterday.
