To the historian: I've thought a lot about the jet engine and our economy. I can only guess that, in X number of years, flying as we know it will become almost exclusively corporate. - Just for the record, the regular gas in my hometown (of Wallingford, PA) was about $3.39 yesterday.

The days of the petroleum fueled engine are numbered except where they cannot yet be replaced (jet aircraft).
