I'm about 100 pages into Liberal Fascism and it is excellent! That is where I got the quote. You have a keen eye, my friend:)
While not so well written, The Ominous Parallels by Leonard Peikoff gives a much deeper and more extensively detailed picture of Germany, and shows the parallels to contemporary America. It was written over a period of about 10-15 years before it was published in 1982 and is still highly relevant.
