Wow. We have a good food distribution system in this country? Try telling that to the millions of kids who go to bed hungry at night. How much more out of touch could these guys be?
Yes, that might be why the "obesity epidemic" liberals keep warning us about is concentrated on the hungry poor.
That's the trouble with poor people. They just have too damn much money. Rich people, on the other hand, need more taxpayer subsidies so they can keep sending their kids to private schools.
Poor people don't have enough choices. Many don't want to send their kids to the government monopoly schools that constantly fail to teach their kids. At a supermarket, even the poorest among us have a choice on what they purchase. But with the union run schools? Not a chance. This needs to change.
