Is school choice making some ground?

I am pretty involved with charter schools and private schools, and my wife taught in a traditional public school. From my perspective, there is not even a contest in the debate about school choice. Proponents of traditional public schools have no argument.

Burro,
Excellent to see your entrepreneurship! I love to see free market ideas emerge without some centralized diktat--in your case without the Teachers Union--I hope that your project is a smashing success!

The only choice I had in the Greater Cincinnati area was to pay $8000.00 a year for private school. Worth every dime, but still painful nonetheless. All I ever wanted was some kind of tax break for paying that tuition for high school.
