Lot's Of Conservatives Out There...

The Gallup Poll linked above indicates that this is the highest number of individuals who have ever self-identified as Conservative versus Liberals. Now is the time for Conservatives to take back our country from those left-leaning liberal socialists who are bent on destroying the morals and very fiber of America through their immoral policies and agendas. Get out and vote in 2010 and let those arrogant bastards in D.C. know that we aren’t going to take it any longer.

Gallup Poll still has Obama leading

Barack Obama continues to hold a lead over John McCain in Gallup Poll Daily tracking, 50% to 43%, among registered voters. Obama’s lead has narrowed slightly after being in double-digits several days last week. Two Gallup likely voter estimates show the race slightly closer. Gallup Poll

Americans are not happy


For the fifth straight month, 80% or more of Americans are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the country. Gallup’s July midsummer mood reading shows only 17% of Americans satisfied and 81% dissatisfied. See story here

Congressional approval hits all time low—14%


Approval of Congress has reached an all-time low reading of 14%, having dropped five points over the past month. The decline from last month is almost all because of depressed ratings from Democrats. My question is: How low can they go?

Confidence in Congress: Lowest ever for any institution

Just 12% of Americans express confidence in Congress, the lowest Gallup has measured for any institution in the 35-year history of the confidence in institutions question.

If you watch c-span as much as I do, then you can understand why Congress gets such a low rating. A partisan spin on every touchstone issue is the norm.

86% say economy is getting worse

During the first week of June, Americans continued to show near-unanimity that the economy continues to deteriorate, with 89% of those making less than $90,000 a year saying things are getting worse and 83% of those making $90,000 or more saying the same.
